November 8, 2018 - Cataracts
Hey folks, it’s Dr. Sam and I want to talk to you today about cataracts.
I’m really excited about this new study which shows that people that are low in vitamin B2 have a higher risk of developing cataracts.
In this study, people who were given 2.2 mg of vitamin B2 showed a 31 to 51 percent reduction in developing cataracts. So without a doubt, B2 should be an essential part of your eye health protocol. Some good food sources of vitamin B2 include spinach, almonds, avocados, and mushrooms.
So let’s add vitamin B2 to the overall protocol in improving lens health and reducing cataracts.
