I received an email from Tommy, who is suffering from double vision.
I’ve been told that my eyes work fine together, but they’re actually not working well together. When I look straight ahead, I get double vision and it gets worse the higher up I look. Looking down, I get no problems. Apparently, my eye muscles are working too hard in the upper region so the specialists suggest cutting the muscle and doing surgery. I’m looking for alternatives.
The first thing I would suggest to Tommy is not to get eye muscle surgery. It is one of the worst surgeries you can get. It won’t work and it’ll create more confusion. There are much better ways to go about this than trying to fix it through eye muscle surgery. My suggestion would be to first make sure you want to rule out any neurological conditions like Parkinson’s, M.S., or even tumors. The next thing I would consider is whether or not you have had any traumas. Head traumas can sometimes lead to double vision. And the third thing I’d like you to check on are your toxicity levels, which are sometimes related to your dental health. If you’ve had root canals or dental amalgams, your toxicity levels could be quite high. Things like mercury toxicity and lead toxicity can actually cause double vision as well.
The next thing I would consider is what kind of optical system you are looking through. I don’t see in your email that you’re looking through any bifocals or progressive lenses. If you are, you should stop using those because that’s going to induce more double vision. If you are using any prescription, it should be in a single vision form, whether it’s for reading, your computer, or driving. The next thing I would recommend would be to get some craniosacral therapy. This is a wonderful therapy that actually, in some cases, can reduce some of your double vision because there could be a structural reason why the eyes are not lining up. It could be the occipital, the cervical spine, etc. There are many ways a trained craniosacral therapist could maybe help you move back into alignment.
Next, you should look for some type of physical eye therapy for your eyes. On my website, there are a couple of exercises that I would recommend. The first would be the eye scan, performing it with each eye separately. Secondly, I would suggest palming with the humming. Then I would suggest using the Yin Yang Chart. This is a soft focus exercise where you’re looking through the chart and then pushing the chart away from you to try to line up the yin yang symbols. This is a retraining exercise to get your eyes and your brain to align properly. Lastly, if you could, look for a holistic eye doctor to give you yoked prisms. These are special glasses that you can get that will help increase your peripheral vision and your spatial awareness.
If you’ve suffered a traumatic brain injury or many concussions, I would do acupuncture and craniosacral therapy to see if you can release the trauma in your head and in your body from those events, because trauma freezes the tissue where the trauma occurred and this causes an isolation of the tissue from the body. This means that there’s no energy flow, so instead of your body healing, when you’ve had a lot of traumas, those areas are still in shock. Craniosacral therapy and acupuncture can help release those.
Some supplements I recommend are glutathione, beta carotene, lutein, zeaxanthin, vitamin E and then and trace minerals, especially magnesium, zinc, selenium, and chromium. I would also consider a probiotic and make sure you’re reducing any inflammatory response that you might have in your body. Once the trauma is healed, you can move forward in the physical therapy on a physical, emotional, and energetic level!
