Purpose
Thumb rotations help develop the awareness of moving your eyes in a relaxed effortless manner and help improve ocular function.
Equipment Needed
Clean hands and space to stand
When to Perform
2 minutes a day on both eyes
How to Perform
1) Stand in a relaxed position and cover one eye with your hand.
2) With your free arm, form a ‘thumbs up’ and reach out directly in front of you.
3) Pick out a shape (window, lamp, picture) and trace the outline of the shape with your thumb.
4) Follow your thumb with your eye and trace the shape in both directions.
5) Remember to breathe, blink, and feel your eye muscles stretching.
6) Switch eyes and repeat.
