Hello, everyone, it’s Dr. Sam, I’d like to welcome you to my EyeClarity podcast. This is a show that offers cutting-edge information on how to improve your vision and overall wellness through holistic methods. I so appreciate you spending part of your day with me. If you have questions you can send them to Hello at Dr. Sam Berne calm. Now to the latest EyeClarity episode. So in my story is, is that I went up to like minus three/minus three and a quarter. And I met a holistic eye doctor in my late 20s. And it took me about a year, and I dissolved my prescription completely. And it’s been that way ever since. But it was very much a mind body healing. It wasn’t just an eyeball healing. But I had good teachers along the way, who taught me how to, you know, prescribe contacts and glasses that would support the vision improvement. And what the eye doctors are doing to you is what they’ve been trained to do, which is make the eyes worse. And there are definitely techniques just on a prescription level, that can begin to reduce that pattern so that you’re starting to feel improvement. And you know, it’s a process, but I definitely can give you a lot of pointers and tips. The reason why I asked that is that the prescription that you are wearing is calculated at 20 feet. And when you wear that 20 foot prescription at 20 feet, for your computer, you are making your eyes tenser, and making your eyes worse. And so one of the techniques that you could use with contacts is to wear a weaker prescription for the computer. And that would stop the deterioration in the distance. And over time, that prescription could actually become your distance. The other technique that works really well is to wear the same prescription in each eye because then you’re training the eyes and the brain to focus together. But when you correct one eye differently than another, it keeps the separation in place. It doesn’t allow for the two eyes to work together. So let’s say, for example, one experiment I’d like you to do would be to actually start wearing the minus four in the left eye, the right eye.

And it might be a little blurry for you. But it may not be. And you may notice that your body feels more relaxed and your eyes feel more relaxed. When you wear the same prescription in each eye. The first thing I’d like you to experiment with when you were your contacts is where a minus-four in each eye. Okay, and so now you’re on a you’re on a kind of a journey of exploration, exploration meaning, okay, now we’re going to start experimenting with reduced prescriptions and balanced prescriptions. And how do my eyes respond to that, how’s my brain respond to that. So that’s number one minus four in each eye, then I’m just guessing here, but I’m thinking that for your indoor computer work, I would consider like a minus-three in each eye. Now, one of the ways that you can confirm that or check that out, is you could go you could take like your tablet, you probably could even take your laptop to the drugstore. And you could wear your minus fours and then you go get the magnifying lens which is like a plus 1.25. That’s the lowest one you would get. And you have the screen at the distance you work at and then you put that plus 1.25 over the minus four. And you see how that feels, it should be really clear, it should be actually more relaxing. So that’s and then and then we could say, you can either wear that so that if you are going out, you don’t have to switch contacts. But I also could write you a prescription where you have the minus three contacts that you would use indoors. Now another, another technique is, you could wear the minus threes indoors for your work, and then get a pair of minus one glasses that you could wear over those contacts if you’re going for driving. Just to give you a little, just to give you a little technique, one of the things that worked for me personally, is my doctor gave me a pair of minus two contacts. And I would work in my office, and my patients would say to me, we’ve changed what’s happened Are you on, you know, drugs, what you’re seeing more relaxed. And so when you were the reduced prescription like that, it’s going to be more relaxing and more opening for your vision. And that would be something for you to get in touch with that the lower the number, the weaker the lens, the more relaxed you’re going to be.

the place if you start feeling frustrated, when you’re wearing it, you then you need to do something to increase the prescription. So you’re not feeling as frustrated. Because there’s going to be a little blurriness, that’s going to happen. But I suspect that somewhere in the minus three to minus 275, is what you should be wearing for all your digital time. Especially your phone, for sure. And to really can’t track internally, how is it feeling in my eyes and body? It disrupts your normal way of seeing. And one of the things we have to do in nearsightedness is disrupt your normal way of seeing. Okay, okay, because you put your glasses on, it’s very fixed. It’s very static. So this is about more fluidity, a more of an inflow, okay. All right. Now, there’s another exercise that I want to share with you, that’s kind of challenging, but it could accelerate your improvement. And this is what it is. So at the drugstore, you now are looking for the strongest magnification lens, you can find that can be a plus 250 plus three, plus 350, whatever they’ve got, you bring it home.

And you go into your bedroom, and you lock the door, and you sit in the chair. And you wear a patch over the left die. And you take a baseline on the acuity, I can send you directions on how to do it. You take
08:25
a baseline on how you see the world, it’s going to be fairly blurry. And then you take this magnification lens and you put it over the right eye. And you’re going to go whoa, this is really blurry. And if you were that for a minute, and on a mental level your exercise is can I relax into this blur instead of freaking out about it, and then you take it off, your eyesight is going to be really clear. So what you’re doing is you’re going more into your blur the thing you don’t like and it’s going to release something mentally and then your eye so that you’re going to get less and less nearsightedness because you’re more comfortable in this extreme blur. So it’s like a vision, exercise, vision fitness of challenge. And it really works well. So you do it three times. With the right eye minute on take it off. Notice the difference. Minute on, take it off, a minute on take it off and then take the patch off. You might be surprised how clearly you’re seeing. We carry a lot of our life experience in our eyes we internalize that and what this is doing is waking up those sleeping energies that we’ve been holding in our eyes which creates nearsightedness. And quite honestly, if you start doing that, it’s going to awaken and release the restrictions that you put on your vision. And all the eye doctor has done is reinforced your own restrictions, you’re very restricted. And your consciousness. When you, when you wear that level minus four, that’s a lot of tight tightness narrowing, it makes things smaller than they really are. So when you wear an opposite lens, it’s gonna make things huge. It’s going to be all blurry, it’s going to be all, you know, form, there’s no detail. And then when you take them off, it’s going to rebalance your, your mind, and your eyes, to not have to be so extreme, and always looking for that level of clarity. I want you to stop looking for the clarity and let the clarity come to you. When I was able to see 2020 I didn’t have to look for clarity anymore. It just showed up one day showed up. It just showed up, I was ready to receive the clarity because it’s the seeking of the clarity that induces them. Right? It may take you further, you’re doing everything that’s putting you further away. And that’s not your fault. It’s the way that the AI field is because they’re treating a symptom. They see you as an optics problem as a number. Oh, she’s a number. Exactly. Let’s give you a more number. Because that’s what we you know, the higher the number, the better. And you don’t want to be in that mode. Some people do some people give me the number I love it. It’s but that’s not you, and I suspect your prescription your way over prescribed, you know, if I if you were in my office, I might give you like a minus two or minus two fit, you know, I don’t know but so I think this is the beginning. So this blurry lens prescription is phenomenal at releasing those restrictions, and it really starts in the mental. It’s the mental and the attitude that creates the optics in the eye.
