— it may be your Gallbladder or Pancreas
Did you know a direct connection exists between the, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and eye health?
If you have had your gallbladder removed or eat your daily kale and spinach, and your eyes keep getting worse, read on!
The gallbladder is an organ located in the upper right side of the abdomen that stores bile, a fluid produced by the liver that helps digest fats. Bile is needed to help you absorb the vital eye ingredients: Vitamin A and Carotenoids.
Vitamin A–a fat-soluble ingredient supports the membranes surrounding the eyes, the membranes inside the eyelid, the cornea, the vitreous, the macula, and the retina. Suppose you suffer difficulties seeing at night, chronic dry eye syndrome, meibomian gland dysfunction, blepharitis, styes, conjunctivitis or other eye infections, eye ulcers, macular degeneration, diabetic/hypertensive retinopathy, glaucoma, cataracts, retinitis pigmentosa, and other optic nerve diseases. You may not be absorbing fat-soluble vitamins like Vitamin A or Carotenoids.
Carotenoids are another fat-soluble substance with the ingredients lutein and zeaxanthin, and your sluggish gallbladder won’t absorb these substances either.
The other part of the equation is that your pancreas produces enzymes that enhance the digestion of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. Which also breaks down fat-soluble Vitamin A and carotenoids.
In my Iridology sessions, I can evaluate the health of the liver, gallbladder and even determine the cholesterol levels in the body. Certain patterns and pigments in the Iris can show nurture points like the liver, gallbladder, thyroid, pancreas, and heart health. Contact us if you would like an Iridology session.
