How fast food affects eye health

Howdy folks, it’s Dr. Sam. I want to talk about a study that came out of UCLA that found that if you eat junk food, it clogs up your brain synapses. Another finding of the study was that if you fill your diet with omega-3 foods and healthy foods, it actually improves your brain synapses.

So we know that fast foods do not have nutritional value. In fact, they have ingredients that clog up your arteries, which makes you more susceptible to high blood pressure, obesity and type 2 diabetes.

My advice would be to reduce the intake of fast food, carbs, sugars, salts, and processed foods. It will definitely affect your eye and brain health. Boost your intake of healthy fats, proteins, and antioxidants. It can also help to supplement with prebiotic fiber and probiotics. You can use food as medicine to live better and feel better!
