Unwinding Your Nearsightedness

Reducing nearsightedness is definitely a process. It’s a process becoming nearsighted, so naturally, it’s a process to reverse it. One way to approach it is by going to your eye doctor and negotiating two prescriptions: one full-strength prescription that corrects you for 20/20 and a second that corrects you for 20/40. I’m doing this right now with a gentleman who is wearing 20/20 strength glasses for distance activities such as driving, and then for everything else, he’s wearing his 20/40 prescription. The weaker prescription is not as clear for him, but the idea is to use the prescription as a prompt to feel what it’s like to be in a softer experience with his eyes. He’s reported to me that he’s more open and receptive to his family, his access more creativity and flow in his life, and he’s told me his eyes feel more relaxed even though he doesn’t see things in the distance quite as clearly.

This is a great visual exercise that works well. Your vision will not change overnight; it is a process of unwinding. I would also suggest adding the eye dialog exercises with the plus lens to blur to accelerate unwinding your nearsightedness.
