Hey, folks, it’s Dr. Sam and I want to talk to you about the benefits of kimchi.
Kimchi is a traditional Korean side dish that tastes a little bit sour and spicy – it is delicious. Kimchi:
- Is packed full of vitamin A, vitamin B, and vitamin C.
- has lactobacillus, which is the healthy bacteria that is needed for a healthy gut.
- It has anti-cancer and anti-aging properties.
- It has many antioxidants that help reduce oxidative stress and improve the health of your brain and central nervous system.
- Improves skin health
- reduces seasonal allergy symptoms
- is high in fiber and prevents overeating
- Low in calories and facilitates weight loss
- has high levels of prebiotic fiber and probiotics
